There's more!

About the UNF Preschool

The UNF Preschool first and foremost is an inquiry-based, Reggio-inspired STEM focused early learning center for curious preschoolers.  As a Lab school for the College of Education and Human Services, it is also a place of exemplary early childhood practice for teachers around Northeast Florida who come to learn best practices. Many UNF early childhood students complete coursework, internships and work part time at the preschool. Nestled on a preserve, the children learn in a naturalistic environment each and every day. Children become keen observers, competent communicators and responsible citizens who care for one another and the natural world.  "As young Ospreys explore, they learn to soar!"

How Your Donations Make a Difference

Your donations will directly impact our youngest Ospreys! By making a gift to the UNF Preschool, you can help create the infrastructure to support various enrichment programs, such as providing high-quality STEAM materials, art materials, outdoor equipment and picture books for our youngest Ospreys.

Why Your Support is Important

Early childhood education is a very critical period in a child's development with significant brain growth during the first five years of life.  A high-quality, developmentally appropriate early learning center is focused on the whole child and all domains of development including social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical motor to ensure that each child develops the foundation for lifetime learning and well-being.
