Department of Clinical and Applied Movement Sciences Mission

Our mission is to optimize health and quality of life across the lifespan through translational scholarship, experiential learning and community engagement.

Head and Shoulders Above the Rest

Our alumni are employed in a broad range of areas, including clinical exercise physiology, health and fitness, human performance, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, athletic training and clinical research in traditional and non-traditional settings.

Experiential Learning Opportunities

An understanding of human movement serves as the foundation for the practice of athletic training and kinesiology. As part of these academic programs, students have the unique opportunity to work with cadavers to learn the human anatomy. Your support of our programs will ensure our goal of continuing contemporary education to prepare students for clinical practice.
