Support UNF Osprey Racing
Osprey Racing is a registered student organization at UNF within the School of Engineering under the College of Computing, Engineering and Construction. Your donation will help provide students with real-world applications of the engineering curriculum and related courses.
About Osprey Racing
Osprey Racing is one of only 120 teams worldwide to participate in the Formula SAE® Collegiate Design Series sanctioned by the SAE International, formerly called the Society of Automotive Engineering. Essentially, the series is an engineering design competition for undergraduate and graduate students based on the concept that a fictional manufacturing company has contracted a design team (participating teams) to develop a small Formula-style race car. The engineering and business goal is to create and construct a single-seat, open-wheel race car (a.k.a. Formula-style) targeted for the non-professional weekend autocross racer. Critical metrics for the race car are the best overall design, construction, performance and cost.
How your Donations Make a Difference
Donors like you fully fund Osprey Racing. Participating in the series enhances each student's engineering design and project management skills by applying learned classroom theories in a challenging, sanctioned competition.
Why Your Support is Important
Participating and competing in the series promotes students' careers and excellence in engineering while building a race car.
The series encompasses all aspects of engineering and business, including research, design, development, testing, manufacturing, marketing, management and finance. Thank you for supporting the future of engineering and our amazing Ospreys!
