Supporting Our Students

Join the Raising Kane Challenge! COEHS Interim Dean, Dr. Jennifer Kane, has made a personal pledge of $500 to inspire others to Swoop and Support on Giving Day. The COEHS fund with the greatest number of donors at the end of Giving Day at noon on April 3, 2024 will receive an additional $500 gift from Dr. Kane.

That's not all!

Once the College of Education and Human Services reaches its donor goal of 400 donors across all projects, a $5,000 challenge gift will be UNLOCKED from Jed Davis, '11 and Jill Davis, UNF Board of Trustees member. Help us unlock this challenge with your gift!

Leadership is the No.1 skill employers are looking for and the Taylor Leadership Institute (TLI) offers several unique programs that complement all academic majors and set students apart. Through our programs, students enhance their capacity, explore their purpose, and equip themselves with the knowledge and skills to be influential leaders on campus and within the community.

Taylor Leadership Institute

The Taylor Leadership Institute facilitates leadership education inside and outside the classroom, emphasizing the promotion of personal, civic and community engagement through rigorous and innovative programs that advance student leadership development and academic excellence.

TLI has received awards and recognition from Franklin Covey Education, Jacksonville Rotary, UNF Women’s Center, HR.com LEAD Awards, Florida College Access Network and many more. The Institute has been celebrated as one of the top leadership programs in the Southeast.

Why Your Support is Important

Your support of TLI provides students with valuable opportunities and transformational leadership experiences that help prepare students to become the next generation of leaders!

How Your Donations Make a Difference

By making a gift to the Taylor Leadership Institute, you are providing valuable opportunities for UNF students to develop and practice leadership skills for success after graduation.

Students benefit through unique opportunities to participate in leadership research and scholarship and engage in leadership training, professional development and other life-changing experiences.

The program continues to create opportunities for community impact and professional leadership development through our work with partners including the Ronald McDonald House Charities, First Tee and PGA, The Ritz-Carlton of Amelia Island, Franklin Covey Education and area K-12 schools, as well as supporting UNF Athletics and the UNF Army ROTC.
